New Caladonia granite with overall pitting

In reading your replys to questions, I realize we were very undereducated consumers when we selected our Granite (http://tanbrown.org) . We chose the New Caladonia slab which had quite a bit of overall pitting. We assumed that the "fabricator/installer" would some how be able to eradicate the pitting in the Granite (http://tanbrown.org) . THe opposite seems to have occured and (http://maplered.com) after 18 months of use the pitting actually seems worse. The installer applied 2 applications of an impregnator/sealer and (http://maplered.com) left enough for us to apply it again when needed. My husband (http://maplered.com) did this about 2 months ago. My question is, is there anything we can do about the pitting or do I just need to learn to live with it? Is this product true Granite (http://tanbrown.org) ? We bought what we thought was Granite (http://tanbrown.org) but after reading your web site I wonder what we have. THank you for your expert opinion.
